DescriptionFrom TDN caption:Tempe Girls club definitely didn't think it was folly when Tempe Junior Woman's Club member Susan Carlson (seated) turned over that huge check to its director Don Standish (left) recently. The big-in-size check was big in numbers too -- turning over $2,000 to the Girls Club. It represented proceeds from that big Follies staged by Junior Woman's club, under chairmanship of Mrs. Carlson, earlier this year. Among girls who'll reap the benefits is Mitchell school sixth grader Karen Sears, a Girls Club member.
