DescriptionFrom a photo caption on the front page of Tempe Daily News June 16, 1978:Girlpower - Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano meets Tempe High School seniors who will be helping man telephones at Tempe city hall for special Neighborhood Involvement Week clean-up campaign in city next week. Sponsored by Tempe Junior Woman's Club, the week aims at encouraging all Tempeans to get together with their neighbors to clean up yards, alleys and vacant lots. Members of Tempe High's Kalai Theta Girls service organization will be manning telephones to take calls for special thrash pick-ups for the week.
