DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, July 20, 1978:

What's A Hoagie? - Catherine Bentley, fourth grader from Adams grade school and member of the Tempe Girls' Club is anxious to let everyone know about the "Hoagie." The Girls are involved in a summer-sale-session to get mom out of the kitchen with their pre-made, home delivered 10 inch submarine sandwich. It's easy to order one of one dozen of these sandwiches, which contain three types of lunch meats, lettuce tomatoes, onions, pickles, and two types of cheese, and cost $2 apiece. Just call the Tempe Girls' Club - 966-2770 - and ask for "Hoagie." The order will be delivered to your home on Saturday, July 29 between 4 and 6 p.m.
