DescriptionFrom an article appearing in Tempe Daily News July 21, 1978:Here Come The New Models! - Truck driver Charles Jennings, of Tempe, finds trucking new cars not so bad, when they're the size of the ones he's getting ready to freight to Covington, Tennessee. Jennings was loading his truck with mini-cars from F.W. and Associates of Tempe, manufacturer of mini-automobile, van and truck versions of the "real things" while TDN photographer Jan Young was at the facility to take another photo, Wednesday. You could say it's a mini-harbinger of things to come. The country's "big" automobile industry will shortly begin trucking its 1978 models to points around the country too.
