DescriptionFrom a photo caption in Tempe Daily News, August 8, 1978:

Dolly 'Checks In' - Tempe Historical Society's Hackett House Restoration Committee members had good reason to say "Hello, Dolly" with enthusiasm! Tempe Musical Theater presented the committee with a $500 check last week - representing share of the proceeds from its production last spring of the popular "Hello, Dolly" musical at McClintock High School auditorium. Check will go into the fund to help finance restoration of the old Hackett House here as a walk-through museum and city visitor center. Don Liem (center), "Hello, Dolly" producer and a member of the cast, turned over check to Rudy Campbell, a past chairman of the Hackett House committee, and Carolyn Jenkins, past Tempe Historical Society president, both of whom just happened to be "Dolly" cast members too. Tempe Musical Theater expects to do another show this coming spring, but as yet hasn't decided on what musical its members will turn their talents to.
