DescriptionFrom a photo caption in Tempe Daily News, Monday, September 11, 1978:Giving Him Inspiration - McClintock High School graduate Larry Paule shows remembrances of his trip to Israel, a trip which he says "invoked upon the importance of keeping my Judaism alive - which has taken form in my wanting to be a rabbi." Larry is holding a poster he purchased in Israel of a lone Jew praying at the Western Wall, better known as the "Wailing Wall." Glassed and framed prints on the table are by Israel artist Tal of Chasidic Jews in their daily life and at right on table is a Chanukah Menorah from Israel. Larry is wearing a mezuzah (Hebrew prayers contained in jewelry) around his neck.
