Three of those retirees recently honored by the district and superintendent Tom Parker, left, were Vern Smith, Tempe High equipment manager, second from left; Mort Wilson, Tempe High industrial arts teacher; and William Reinick, Spanish teacher at Tempe High. Not pictured are Catherine Maricas, Spanish and English teacher at Marcos de Niza, and Mary Denton, McClintock art instructor.
