"The church was chartered January 13, 1952, with 38 members as the Presbyterian Church of Tempe. It was founded on the campus of Arizona State University. Its current name was adopted in 1958. It occupied its 4.57-acre campus in 1961-62. The sanctuary was dedicated in 1980."
