DescriptionBox of items related to the 1995 Tempe Butte Rock Art Recording Project which was conducted by Loendorf and Associates under contract with the City of Tempe Community Services Department and overseen by Dr. Amy Douglass of the Tempe Historical Museum. The collection includes 2 binders filled with slides that depict the numerous petroglyphs found on the rock face. There is an itemized list included in the collection which describes each slide individually. There is also a rotary slide tray for projecting the slides. There are also numerous folders which contain sketches, panel locations, and descriptions for the 30 different outcrops which were analyzed as part of this study.Status
