DescriptionTeaching Diploma of Mildred Muriel Hart, daughter of Tempe's first mayor Dr. Fenn J Hart, from The Tempe Normal School of Arizona, predecessor of Arizona State University. The diploma is enclosed in a tan leather bound cover with gold engraving and a gold ribbon, it is dated June 6, 1913 and includes the signature of BB Moeur, former Tempe resident and the fourth governor of Arizona. The back of the diploma lists the 35 courses that Mildred completed to obtain the teaching diploma.Status
