He was a pitcher for the Tempe Normal School state championship baseball team in 1915. In 1929 was foreman at J D H Alstead Lumber Co.
Moved to Chandler, where he operated a farm.
Moved to Burbank, California, in 1949.
Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Served as a Pfc in Co. H, 31st Infantry, in World War I.
