BiographyMiner and beekeeper. Came to Tucson from Texas with his parents in 1859. Worked at the Silver King mine near Florence, and at several other large mines in Arizona for twenty years, until he started showing symptoms of "miners' consumption" and retired. He moved to Safford in 1901 and took up beekeeping.
