BiographyCame to Tempe in 1886.Went from Missouri to California in 1852, and settled near Santa Rosa. Went from California to Flagstaff, Arizona, in 1884. His wife became ill, and about 1886, he took her back to Los Angeles, to her sister's home, where she died Sept. 18, 1886. His sister took the three youngest girls into her home and cared for them as a mother until they were
grown. He came to Tempe in 1886. His children later joined him in Tempe. In 1923 was a clerk at Pay'nTakit, lived in Phoenix.
