BiographyAttorney and Judge.
Practiced law in Tempe, 1915-1923 at 14 E 5th St.. During World War I, he served two years overseas as an American Vice Consul at Madrid, Spain. He
was a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge, 1923-1931. He had received the support of the Hispanic community for his election through Pete Estrada.
Special Assistant Attorney General, 1935-1937.
He practiced law in Phoenix after 1937.
Served again as Maricopa County Superior Court Judge, 1941-1952.
Arizona Supreme Court Justice, 1953-1959.
Lived at 948 Van Ness (c1911-1914), Cactus Camp, on the north side of the river (1916), 113 E. 6th Street (1919), and 24/28 W. 9th Street (1919-1923). After retiring in 1959, moved to Laveen, near Baseline Road.
