Came to Tempe c1874.
Her father, Mariano Gonzales, had been a ranch owner in Sonora, but he had been forced to abandon his cattle and land and flee to the United States with his family because of the political turmoil in Sonora at the time. Their family settled in Tucson, c1868, and moved to the Salt River Valley, c1874.
She became a naturalized citizen before 1900.
Lived at 1103 Normal Avenue, c1910-1921, '23., -'31, -'32. In 1931 was widow of J. T.
