Southwest District Kiwanis notables gathered in Tempe, Friday night, to join members of 10 Division VII Kiwanis Clubs - including all three of Tempe's Kiwanian groups - for a banquet at Fiesta Inn. Occasion was official visit of Southwest District Governor Dr. Tom Salyer (3rd from left), Tucson, to the Division. And among those here for the occasion were (from left) Ernie Startz, president of Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club which was banquet host; Division VII Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor Jim Huntington of Tempe, member of Sunrise KC; Salyer; McClintock sponsored Key Clubs for high school boys, Division Vii Kiwanis lieutenant governor-elect Jim Vaughn, Scottsdale; and Jim Stone, president of Scottsdale-Paradise Valley Club.
