Now It's Official -

Kiwanis Southwest District Lieutenant Governor Dr. Tom Salyer, Tucson (2nd from left), shakes hands with Tempe Amigos Kiwanis Club President Fred Ross after officially presenting the new club with its charter at banquet at Dobson Ranch, Friday evening. Joining in the charter night celebration were (left) Fred Ackel, incoming president of Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club which sponsored organization of the Amigos; (from right); Sunrise Kiwanis new club organizing chairman Clyde Hunter; and Jim Huntington, Sunrise member and a Kiwanis division lieutenant governor. New Amigos club will cater especially to men from the industrial park areas of southwest Tempe and will meet Tuesdays at 7 a.m. at Denny's restaurant.
