Tempe Police Patrolman Jim Palmer (seated) admires Officer of the Month plaque presented him by Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club representatives, Vice President Fred Ackel (left) and Greg Mastin, major emphasis chairman for the club. Earlier this spring, Palmer also received VGW's Outstanding Law Enforcement Officer of the Year Award.
