Richard Settles, sixth grader at Hudson Elementary School, recently won awards for a clay mug, ceramic plate and teabag holder in the Arizona Ceramic Association Show held in the Phoenix Civic Plaza. Richard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Stan Settles at 1627 East La Jolla, has been taking ceramic lessons since last summer.
