DescriptionTempe Daily News 01/14/1978A relief driver accidentally ran a City of Tempe garbage truck into a light pole behind the Golden Age restaurant at 1123 South Rural Road. Public Works Director Grover Serenbetz estimated the damage to the vehicle to be worth $10,000. City insurance covers damage to the light post - but not to the trash truck.
