DescriptionFrom a photograph caption appearing in the Thursday, May 25, 1978 issue of Tempe Daily News:Big Surprise - It was a big night for Bill Kajikawa, retiring Arizona State University coach - and a surprise when Harry Rosenzweig (right), of the Sun Angel Foundation presented him with a $4,500 check with instructions it was to be used for whatever he and wife Margaret wanted. "Kaji" was guest of honor for an appreciation dinner which attracted several hundred Valley residents to Del Webb's TowneHouse in Phoenix. Tempe resident Kajikawa is retiring from the ASU athletic staff after many years of service.
