DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing on the front page of Tempe Daily News, Friday, July 28, 1978:Service Award - Fred Grantham (third from left) accepts plaque from Pete Chapas, Erich Schoenfeld and Jay Mounts for his 11 years of work as a Tempe police officer and community service. Grantham recently left the department to open a hardware business in Tempe. While on the department, he served as the president of the local Fraternal Order of Police organization and held two state FOP posts. He is also active in Pop Warner Football and the summer baseball program.
