DescriptionFrom a photo caption in Tempe Daily News, Wednesday, August 9, 1978:Ready And Waiting - New Fees Intermediate School in Tempe Elementary School District will greet its first students this month when TD3 classes for the 1978-79 year begin on August 28. Designed by architect Craig Walling, with parent input, and built by TGK Construction Company, the school is located on 28 acre site adjacent to Rover Elementary School on Watson drive. Cleanup is all that remains to be done to complete the facility before the school year opening date. Courtyard above is one of two identical ones which flank school's central administration and media center, connecting it with surrounding classroom pods.
