DescriptionW.M. Grace Development Co.'s Southwest Technology Center rises up at Rural Road and Lakeshore Drive. The $100 million complex will include two 11-story office towers and an eighty-story, 300 room hotel on an 18-acre site.

Note - In the original January 2, 1985 edition of the Tempe Daily News, there is an article titled "Garrett Corp. to open Tempe division" which appears immediately above the captioned photo recorded by this TMS record. While it appears that the photo and story are related, in fact they are not. The article is about plans to expand the Garrett Corporation's business location in Tempe (Garrett Corp. became part of Honeywell International through mergers). The photo shows the in-progress construction of the Southwest Technology Center in Tempe by the W.M. Grace Development Co. (not related to Garrett or Honeywell).
