Across the waters - A group of Tempe City visitors came all the way across the ocean to take this boat ride on The Lakes in Tempe on Easter Sunday. Enjoying the boating excursion as part of a week's visit in Tempe were a Regensburg, Germany delegation including, back left and right, Regensburg Burgermeister Alfred Hofmaier and Regensburg shopping center owner Hans Vielberth; front from left, music teacher Otto Vielberth, translator Gertraud Wiesinger, Tempe host Len Copple, Irmgard Hofmaier, Erika Vielberth, Tempe hostess Jean Copple, Regensburg's sister City program director Wilhelm Lang from McClintock High School while spending a year in Tempe as a Sister City exchange student.
