DescriptionThe Tempe Downtown Redevelopment Tour booklet is printed on light brown paper with reddish brown ink. The front cover has various pictures of downtown buildings. The inside of the front cover is a map with a tour route of the buildings described in the booklet. There is a general discussion of Tempe's location and a very brief history on the first page. There are 15 Projects described in the booklet, each with a picture and project name, address, description, the public role in the project, the developer/owner comments, the timetable, the development team, and the contact for further information. The projects described are: Mercado Del Rio, Hayden Square, Casa Loma Building, Hackett House/Tempe Bakery, Mill Avenue Shops, Tempe Hardware Building, University Plaza, Mill Avenue Streetscape, Plazita De Descanso, Tempe City Hall, Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, Five M Building, Vienna Bakery Building/Golden Temple, Chipman/Petersen Building and Cutler Building, and Andre Building.
