DescriptionAbstract and colorful painting of three kids having fun. In the center of the frame is a kid posed in a handstand wearing a large blue shirt and red checkered pants. Surrounding them are two tall palm trees and two girls with long hair looking up to the sky. Adhered directly to the panel are found objects that fill in colored blocks of the painting, for instance a blue button and a red leaf."S. Mindrum-Logan set out to honor the residents of Tempe when they created their series of art buses called, "Everyday Heroes." They believe that the heroes in the community are the people who live there and that a community is as good as its people. In collaboration with students from Corona del Sol High School, they painted tributes to Tempe residents who contribute to the success and growth to the community."
