DescriptionPhotograph of the Cardboard Boat Regatta event in April of 2001, located at Tempe Town Lake. In the foreground are four competitors getting ready next to their dragonfly vessel. One woman brushes and sprays out the others long hair, two stretch their legs, and they are all dressed in matching green tanktops and denim shorts. In the background attendees are visible taking seats in the grass or socializing, and in the distance is the ASU football stadium, as well as the Butte.

Tarah Rider Berry captures the heart of Tempe, Arizona through her photographs. Her images are often of well-known places and events around Tempe such as the Tempe Beach Park, the Hayden Flour Mill, and the Oktoberfest festival.
