DescriptionPhotograph of children playing in sand at Tempe Beach Park in October of 2000. In the foreground are three children sitting in the sand and creating hills and valleys. Beyond them is the sidewalk path adjacent to the lake, which has been fenced off for an event, and a tent setup with cold drinks available. People walk and sit in the area, and in the background is the bridge connecting Mill Avenue to the north side of the lake.Tarah Rider Berry captures the heart of Tempe, Arizona through her photographs. Her images are often of well-known places and events around Tempe such as the Tempe Beach Park, the Hayden Flour Mill, and the Oktoberfest festival.
