The items are related to the activities of the Tempe Fire Department, its firemen and paramedics and newspaper clippings of general interest from 1997 - September 2000. Stories include a fire at Thew elementary school, several fires at the same time at valley businesses, the accreditation of Tempe Fire Department and Cliff Jones, Tempe Fire Chief named as 1997 Career Fire Chief of the Year., as well as an arson fire at Home Depot, and the expected opening of Rula Bula after a fire in the Andre Building.Status
