There is a scalloped apron at the front of the body of the washstand. Above this on the right side there are two half drawers with metal drawer pulls, whilst on the left side there is a side compartment with a wooden knob. Above these is a full length drawer with two metal drawer pulls (the drawers have metal modified bat wing mount with bail handle). The left and right sides of the washstand and the back consist of wooden panels. The top surface is flat with curved corners. The splash board at the back is scalloped and has curved vertical pieces which support a circular turned towel rack.
