DescriptionThis writing desk has metal ball wheels attached to semi-ball and claw bracket feet. These in turn are attached to the main body of the piece which consists of a chest of drawers. There are four serpentine fronted drawers, each with metal hardware (two drawer pulls and a key hole). Above the drawers is a fold-down writing board which has metal hardware attached in the center on the outside. Inside the writing compartment there are four small drawers, three of which have metal knobs. There are also six compartments for paper. In the center there is a small door which has a metal knob and hinges attached to it. It is carved in the upper section. There are secret compartments either side of this with a pillar type design on them.Status
