DescriptionStudents enrolled in the DECA (distributive education) program at Tempe High School learn all aspects of the retail business through that work-study program - even to creating window displays. THS senior Susan Derks poses with the window display she created in "window" of hall at the School to display fashions of K-Mart, where she is getting on-the-job training through DECA in the store's ladies apparel department. As part of their classroom work, DECA students take turns creating window displays (a new one each month) which might feature the businesses where they are getting work experience, or spotlight school's Homecoming, proms or other events.
