Dick Flynn and (far right) Senator James Mack make US Senator Barry Goldwater feel at home and on his arrival at Ahwatukee Country Club for District 27 Republican "Newcomers Social" held at that club Saturday Night. The senator, known as "Mr. Republican" to most of that party's state residents, was guest of honor for the shindig for which newcomer Republicans in the city's growing southern area were also special guests, "old timer" district Republicans were hosts and Hostesses.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-A.
