DescriptionFrom TDN caption:Tempean Edna Martin has never run for public office and never been visibly "up front" in campaigning for Republican candidates, but her work behind the scenes for Tempe District 27 Republicans earned her honors recently as Tempe's "Republican of the Year." Joining in paying tribute to the lady who "has dedicated her energies and efforts" to the Republican party here for a number of years, were (from left) District 27 State Senator Jim Mack, Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano and Tempe Republican Men's Club President Alex Moser. Republican Men's Club presents the annual award. It was given at a recent reception for Mrs. Martin at the Fiesta Inn.
