DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing on Page A13, 'Applause' section of Tempe Daily News, Saturday, March 30, 1985:

No tongue-in-cheek thing - Painting houses is engrossing work, even when the houses are make-believe and so are the housepainters. Mt. Carmel School second grader Steve Wendt and little sister, Katie, a Grace Community School preschooler, put their all - including Katie's tongue - into their work when they got a chance to do something mom and dad, Pat and George Wendt of Tempe, wouldn't let them do at home during city recreation division’s 'Sunday Afternoon Unlimited' for youngsters last weekend at Tempe Community Center.

The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-E.
