DescriptionAloha to summer, from Tempe Daily News, August 28, 1985 - More than 200 Legionnaires and guests wound up the summer at an annual luau at William Bloys Post No. 2. American Legion Hall Saturday night. Admiring the piece de resistance of the feast, a roast suckling pig, before it's carved for serving are, from left, Legion Auxiliary president Mary Runkle, post junior vice commander and luau chairman Jim Grone and post adjutant Barbara Thames. Polynesian entertainment and dancing to music from the islands kept guests happy too.
