BiographyCame to Tempe in 1919.Reporter for the Arizona Republic/Phoenix Gazette for 15 years, then for Tempe Daily News until 1963.
Graduated from Northern Illinois State University.
Taught in Illinois, and moved to Tucson in 1909. Taught in Tucson and Douglas, then lived in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Moved to a farm at McKellips and Scottsdale Road in 1919.
Served as president of several organizations, including the Tempe Women's Club, Chapter F of the PEO, and the Tempe Republican Women's Club.
Member of Daughters of the American Revolution.
