DescriptionNoell Bickmaster, three-year-old daughter of William Boys American Legion and Auxiliary members Donald and Norma Buckmaster, had no trouble at all convincing Mayor Bill LoPiano to buy a Buddy Poppy from her to wear in remembrance of the city's men and women who fought and died in America's wars. The mayor had just proclaimed Friday and Saturday as Poppy Days in Tempe, leading to Memorial Day observances here Monday.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-C.
