DescriptionFrom an article/photograph published in Tempe Daily News, July 7, 1977:A Place To Pause -
Trees, shrubs and flowers in brick-bordered beds make Birchett Park, at Mill avenue and Apache boulevard curve, a lovely place to stop, relax and enjoy. And visitors are welcome to do just that - but if they wish to participate in Tempe Parks and Recreation Department parks-oriented activities of a livelier nature, they'll have to find another park. Birchett is solely for seeing and enjoying.
