Fronts of buildings on Mill avenue's 400 block, west side, are disappearing this week as work has resumed on demolishing of the old to make room for the new in downtown redevelopment project being undertaken by local architect Michael Goodwin. Goodwin initially expected to be able to save fronts of the old buildings but received City Council approval to change than plan when demolition crew ran into difficulties and it was decided fronts couldn't be saved.
