Mrs. E.W. Hudson (center) hands over deed to land for a new city park to Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano (left) and Tempe Parks Board Chairman Dr. David Gourley. Mrs. Hudson has given the city six and half acres of property on the city's southeast border for development as a neighborhood park to serve a Tempe residential area near Mesa's Desert Samaritan Hospital - as well as to serve future resident of a life care retirement villa due to be developed in that area.
