DescriptionWarren Dennis doesn't have a favorite song and he's equally undecided on his favorite type of music, but he does have a favorite area high school -- McClintock High, where he's been Department Chairman in charge of vocal groups for the past seven years. In an interview last week, during a relaxing spring break, Dennis reflected his thoughts on music as a curriculum, its general importance in our lives and the vocal groups he directs at the Chargers' school. It doesn't take long to realize he's an advocate of music when he speaks of its importance: "Some take music classes for granted, but they're just as important as other classes. Sure, they're more personal, and they build relationships that become offshoots from regular school activities."The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-A.
