DescriptionA ceramic polychrome bowl. Its exterior is orange with white latitudinal lines, and the interior is also orange, but with black designs, according to the donor record. Archaelogists comment on the donor file saying this bowl is white mountain redware, with St. John's Polychrome opposed & hatched solids. The archaeologists also say there is a carbonyl mineral mix paint, with fire clouding and browning on the outside. The bowl comes from Northeastern Arizona according to both the donor record and the NAGPRA report. The date/age range is also agreed upon on both forms, which say the bowl was used in the early 1200s. However, there is a disagreement on its culture and the cultural affiliation. The donor record says the bowl's culture and further affiliation is the Anasazi, while the NAGPRA report lists the culture and cultural affiliation as Zuni.
