DescriptionA ceramic, highly polished brownware bowl. Its exterior is brown with black shadings, and the interior is solid black, according to the donor record. Archaelogists comment on the donor file that the bowl has a "kill hole," which means its culture is probably Mimbres. The bowl comes from Southwestern New Mexico and Southeast Arizona according to both the donor record and the NAGPRA report. The donor record also says the bowl was used from 1000-1300 A.D. As earlier mentioned, the bowl's culture is most likely Mimbres, since it is listed on the donor record and the NAGPRA report. Finally, according to the NAGPRA report, the bowl's cultural affiliation is the Zuni.
