DescriptionIndividual professional portrait of Mildred Muriel Hart, daughter of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor. The photo is taken indoors, Mildred is sitting side saddle atop a wicker chair, in her left hand she is holding a bouquet of flowers, and her right elbow is resting on the back of the chair. Mildred is wearing a white gown with a ruffled collar and short sleeves, elbow length white lace gloves, a straw hat lined with ruffles and adorned with flowers. Her hair is parted to the side with a large white bow, is curled and reaches to her elbows. The photo is undated, but as she appears to be about 10-12 years of age in the photo, it was likely taken circa 1903.
