DescriptionIndividual professional portrait of a school-age Mildred Muriel Hart, daughter of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor. The photo is taken indoors, Mildred is standing on top of a cushioned footstool, leaning forward against an embroidered cushion chair with a staircase in the background. Mildred is wearing a white gown with a ruffled collar and short sleeves, black tights and buckle shoes with ribbon laces. Her hair is parted down the center, curled and reaches her shoulders. The photo is undated, but as she appears to be about five years of age in the photo, it was likely taken circa 1898.Status
