Gary Allen (left), recreation supervisor for Tempe Parks and Recreation Department accepts $650 check from Ernie Stortz to boost the fortunes of P&R summer baseball and softball programs for the city's boys and girls. Stortz was presenting check on behalf of Tempe Sunrise Kiwanis Club, currently the largest sponsor of summer P&R ball teams. Stortz is Sunrise KC president.
