Mary Jane Mueller and Gene Beauperlant, president and commander of Bob Finch Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and Post, cut the cake for post's 36th birthday party held Friday night at the VFW hall here. Highlight of the dinner-dance was presentation of annual Citizen of year award to longtime Tempean and former Arizona Governor Howard Pyle, but the event also saluted past post commanders and auxiliary presidents and the Bob Finch Post's 36 years of service to local veterans and the community.
