After 7 Years, It's Worn Out -

Danny Perez, crippled since infancy after a bout with polio, got his first special made wheelchair with the help of fellow students, teachers, friends and others from Kyrene School, his hometown of Guadalupe and Arizona State University, about seven years ago. But now the one-had wheelchair is "worn out all over" and won't work to help Danny get around and achieve his goal of going on to junior college or vocational training. To help out, friends will stage a benefit dance to raise funds for a new wheelchair for Danny, Saturday in Guadalupe.
